Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC MTS Result 2019. SSC MTS Tier 1 Result has been updated on the official website of SSC. Candidates who all are waiting for the result of tier 1 MTS exam 2019 can now download the result from the link given below. SSC MTS Exam Pattern for Tier 2

Will the marks be normalized in SSC MTS Result 2019?

Normalized scores of the candidates will be used to determine merit in Paper-I.

What will be the cut-off criteria for SSC MTS Paper I?

As the vacancies for MTS are in two age groups i.e. (i) 18 to 25 years and (ii) 18 to 27 years, in the final result, there will be separate age group-wise, State/ UT-wise and category-wise cutoffs. For the candidates who are eligible for both the age-groups, vacancies will first be filled in the age-group of 18-25 years.

What are the criteria to be shortlisted for DV in SSC MTS 2019?

Based on the performance in Paper-I and scoring the cut-off marks in Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in the Document Verification to check their eligibility as per the information was given by them in the online Application Form. The eligible candidates whose documents are found in order will be considered for final selection.

What are the criteria for SSC MTS final selection?

Final selection and allocation of States/ UTs will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates in Paper-I, the preference of States/ UTs given by them in the online Application Form and the age-group of the candidates.

For how many vacancies will I be considered in SSC MTS 2019?

The candidates will only be considered against the vacancies of States/ UTs for which they have given their preference in the online Application Form.

What is the process for the allotment to various departments?

Further allocation of Ministries/ Department/ Offices in the allocated States/ UTs will be made by the Regional/ SubRegional Offices of the Commission by using the standard methodology.

Is proficiency in the language required in SSC MTS 2019?

Candidates on final selection may be required to acquire the proficiency in the local language of the allotted State/ UT for confirmation of the candidates to the allotted posts by the concerned User Ministry/ Department/ Office.

Can you change the preference of states later?

Preference of States/ UTs exercised by the candidates in the online Application Form will be treated as final and no change in the preference of States/ UTs will be allowed later under any circumstances.

SSC MTS Cut off 2016-17: Tier-I

SSC MTS previous notification was released in 2016 and the examination was held from 16th September to 31st October 2017. The exam pattern consists of 100 questions of total marks of 150. A total number of 19,96,411 candidates appeared in the above examination. SSC MTS Cut off 2016-17: Tier-II

The candidates who qualified in Paper – I, was required to appear in Paper-II, which was conducted on 28-1-2018, in which a total of 1,43,657 candidates appeared. Paper 2 was descriptive and qualifying in nature. The Commission had decided to fix qualifying marks of 17.5 i.e. 35% for UR category and 16.5 i.e. 33% for all other reserved categories in Paper-II. Qualifying marks in Paper-II will be uniform across all States/UTs.

SSC MTS Cutoff 2016-17: Final Cutoff

After the tier 2 Result, candidates were called for the Document Verification round. Candidates for each State/ UT were finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper-II. A total of 23511 candidates qualified for Document Verification against 10674 vacancies reported by User Organizations as on date.
